The Russian Individual and Team Rapid and Blitz Championships will be held from the 10th (arrival) until the 17th (departure) of October 2021 in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi.

The individual blitz championships (Open and Women) will take place on the 11th of October (13 rounds), while rapid events will be held from the 12th till the 13th of October (11 rounds).

The guaranteed prize fund is 1,400,000 rubles in the rapid event and 850,000 rubles in blitz.

The team blitz championships (Open and Women) are scheduled for on the 14th of October (13 rounds), while rapid events will take place from the 15th till the 16th of October (9 rounds).

The guaranteed prize fund is 1,200,000 rubles in the rapid events and 900,000 rubles in blitz.
