WR Chess Wins FIDE World Rapid Team Championship

The FIDE World Rapid Team Championship finished in Düsseldorf. The event ended up with with a confident victory of WR Chess. Wesley So, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Vincent Keymer, Hou Yifan, Alexandra Kosteniuk, and Wadim Rosenstein scored 22 match points out of 24. 

The team Freedom, which consisted of Viswanathan Anand, Daniil Dubov, Vidit Santosh, Richard Rapport, Evgeniy Najer, Polina Shuvalova, Jovana Rapport, and Alexander Shapiro, is on second place with 20 points. 

Team MGD1, which included strong Indian players, won bronze with 18 points.
