Russia Remains Third at the U16 Olympiad
Only one round is left to play.
In the 9th round of the World U16 Olympiad Russia defeated Belarus 3-1 (victories by Savely Golubov, Aleksey Sarana, and Semyon Khanin, a loss by Andrey Esipenko).
Iran leads with 16 team points (28 board points). Three teams have 14 team points: India (26.5 board points), Russia (24.5), and Hungary (23.5).
In the final round Russia meets Turkey.
