Three Rounds of World Youth Championship Played in Italy

The Russians are in the groups of leaders.

Round 3 of the World Youth Chess Championship has finished in Montesilvano (Italy). 

Seven participants have a perfect score in the U14 open competition. The Russians Savva Vetokhin, Artem Uskov and Aleksey Prokhorov have 2.5 points apiece. Iren Lyutsinger is in the lead in the U14 girls' event, with Anna Shukhman half a point behind.

Six players have an unblemished score in the U16 open event. Tamerlan Chyndygyr has 2 points under his belt. The Russian Alexander Khripachenko has entered the competition in the third round: he has scored one point. Alexandra Shvedova is in the share of lead in the U16 girls' event. 

Seven participants, including Aleksey Grebnev, have scored 3 points in the U18 open tournament. Volodar Murzin and Konstantin Popov are half a point behind the leaders. In the U18 girls' group, Anna Zhurova has 2 points.
