St. Petersburg Under 9 Championships Finished
Ivan Saveljev and Ksenia Makarova became champions.
The St. Petersburg Under 9 championships among boys and girls were played on March 19-22 at the Rossiya Hotel.
Ksenia Makarova (Krasnogvardejsky district) won the girls' championship with 7 points out of 8. Ksenia Moiseeva (Start) was second with 6.5 points, Sofia Mutina (Vassilyevsky Island) finished third with 6 points.
Ivan Saveljev (city of Pushkin) swept the boys' championship with 8 points in 8 games. Egor Kurchenko (ShKiDC) finished second with 7 points, Vsevolod Ponomariov (PC Albatros) took the bronze with 6.5 points.
