SHSM Wins Russian Rapid Club Championship
Ugra wins the women's section.
The Russian Rapid Club Championship ended in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina in Sochi. 25 clubs participated in the men's event and 8 clubs took part in the women's event. There were also tournaments for seniors, boys, and girls.
SHSM (Moscow) won the men's championship with 17 match points (26 board points). Bronze Horseman from St. Petersburg finished second with 13 (22.5), Kazan was third with 12 (23).
Ugra (Khanty-Mansiysk) took the first place, winning all seven matches and scoring 14 match points and 22 board points. SHSM was second with 11 (18.5), Boavista (Moscow) was third with 10 (16.5).
Seniors: 1. Bronze Horseman – 11 (16), 2. Our Heritage – 10 (16), 3. Malachite – 7 (13).
Boys: 1. SHSM – 17 (26), 2. Crimea – 12 (21), 3. Lada – 9 (18.5).
Girls: 1. SHSM – 9 (15.5), 2. Lada – 8 (14.5), 3. University – 4 (11).
