Russkiy Island Tournament Ends In Vladivostok
It was a part of the Russian Junior Cup in classical chess.
The Russkiy Island-2016 event ended in Vladivostok. It included classical chess competitions in under 9, under 11, under 13, and under 15 age groups among boys and girls. Chess Federation of Primorye runs these events for five straight years. This time 104 players took part in the competition.
The winners are:
U-9 – Emma Kiseleva, Danil Eschenko (both from Primorsky Krai)
U-11 – Natalia Borisova (Yakutia), Artyom Antipin (Primorsky Krai)
U-13 – Sofia Gusak (Primorsky Krai), Daniil Pankov (Kurgan Region)
U-15 – Ksenia Khorunzeva, Ilya Kulakov (both from Primorsky Krai)
