Round 6 of World Youth Championship in Italy Completed

Savva Vetokhin, Anna Shukhman, and Aleksey Grebnev are in the lead in their groups.

Round 6 of the U14, U16 and U18 World Youth Championship finished in Montesilvano (Italy). 
 
Savva Vetokhin of Russia and Pham Tran Gia Phuc of Vietnam are in the lead in the U14 open tournament with 5.5 points apiece. Aleksey Prokhorov has 4.5 points. Anna Shukhman and Anastasia Kirtadze (Georgia) are leading the U14 girls' group with 5.5 points each. Oksana Goriachkina is half a point behind.
 
Jan Klimkowski (Poland) has scored the sixth victory in the U16 open category. Tamerlan Chyndygyr has got 3.5 points. Wang Chuqiao (China) is leading the U16 girls' event with 5.5 points. Alexandra Shvedova is trailing by half a point. 
 
Aleksey Grebnev is leading the U18 open competition with 5.5 points. Konstantin Popov is half a point behind him. Ayan Allahverdiyeva (Azerbaijan) is leading the race at the U18 girls' group with 5.5 points. Anna Zhurova has 4 points under her belt. 
 
Sunday, November 19, is a rest day at the tournament.
