Reana Kinzyabulatova Becomes U8 Girls' World Cup Winner

The FIDE World Cup among boys and girls under 8, 10, and 12 years old finished in Batumi, Georgia. On 1-2 July, the matches were played in a knockout system.

Reana Kinzyabulatova of Russia defeated Stella Xin of the United States 1.5-0.5 in the U8 girls' tournament to become the World Cup holder in her age group.  

In the U10 girls tournament, Alisa Genrietta Yunker took the silver medal. She lost the first place match against Milana Filippova (Kazakhstan) 0.5:1.5.
