Moscow Clubs Continue Leading Both Championships
Five rounds of the Russian club championships were played in Sochi.
The 5th round of the Russian club championships took place on Thursday, May 5 in Sochi.
In the Premier League, Bronze Horseman crushed Ladya 5-1, while ShSM Legacy Square Capital made a 3-3 draw with Zhiguli.
After the first half of the tournament, ShSM Legacy Square Capital (Moscow) leads with 6 match points (15 board points). Siberia (Novosibirsk) also has 6 match points (14.5 board points). Bronze Horseman (St. Petersburg) is third with 5 (13.5), followed by Zhiguli (Samara Region) – 3 (11) and Ladya (Kazan) – 0 (6).
The following results were recorded in the women's championship: Donchanka – Moscow Youth 2.5-1.5, ShSM Legacy Square Capital – Ladya 3-1, University – Boavista 1.5-2.5, SDYUSSHOR SHSH – Bukavushki 4-0.
The Moscow club leads with 10 points in five matches. Ugra has 7 points, but they played only four matches. Boavista and Donchanka both have 6 points.
In the Higher League, Bulbozaurus lost 1.5-2.5 to SergArk team. The leaders after five rounds are Malachite and SergArk team, both with 8 match points. Petrovskaya Ladya and Bulbozaurus are a point behind.
