Alexander Morozevich Wins Sergievsky Memorial
Sergey Rublevsky and Denis Khismatullin took 2nd and 3rd places.
Vladimir Sergievsky Memorial was played on April 11-13 in Cheboksary. This rapid tournament was a part of the Russian Rapid Grand Prix, and gathered 157 players, including 22 grandmasters, who competed in the 11-round Swiss.
Grandmaster Alexander Morozevich won the event outright with 9 points in 11 rounds. Sergey Rublevsky and Denis Khismatullin were half a point behind. A large group of players collected 8 points, among them are Alexander Motylev, Mikhail Kobalia, Daniil Linchevsky, Igor Lysyj, Valentina Gunina, and Olga Girya.
