Kirill Alekseenko Catches Up With the Leader at World Under 20 Championship

Round 9 of the World under 20 Championship was played in Tarvisio, Italy. Kirill Alekseenko (Russia) defeated Murali Karthikeyan (India) to catch up with Aryan Tari (Norway). Both leaders have got 7.5 points.
Zhansaya Abdumalik (Kazakhstan) is heading the girls’ event with 7.5 points. The Russians Anastasya Paramzina, Alexandra Obolentseva, and Polina Shuvalova are trailing by 1 point.
