Junior Match of Friendship Opened in Harbin
Russian and Chinese children will play against each other for the 4th time.

The International Russia-China Junior Match of Friendship is taking place in Harbin, on August 3-5. Deputy Director General of the Timchenko Foundation Igor Baradachev was among the honorable guests and speakers at the Opening Ceremony, which was held on August 3.
We recall that the teams are composed of 8 young chess players under 14 years old - 6 boys and 2 girls in each team.
The European Champion 2017 Maxim Matlakov will give a 16-board simultaneous exhibition for both the Russian and Chinese team members.
Traditionally, the Match of Friendship includes an extensive cultural programme.
