Five Rounds of European Club Cup Played in Ulcinj
Russian teams pursue leaders.
The fifth round of the European Club Cup was played in Ulcinj on November 14. In the open tournament, Mednyi Vsadnik made a draw with SK Joly Lysa nad Labem (Czech Republic), Molodezhka bested Koge SK (Norway) 4-2, Primorsky District beat ZSK Maribor (Slovenia) 5.5-0.5, while Moscow Chess Team crushed Schachfreunde Berlin (Germany) 5-1.
Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova (Italy) has become the sole leader with 10 match points. Mednyi Vsadnik and SK Joly Lysa nad Labem are trailing by 1 point.
In the women's event, SPB Chess and Draughts Sport School defeated Hertzeliya Chess Club (Israel) 3-1 and Ugra beat Jelica PEP (Serbia) with the same score.
The leaders are Nona (Georgia) and Kyiv Chess Federation (Ukraine) with 8 match points. Ugra is 2 points behind points, while SPB Chess and Draughts Sport School has scored 5 points.
