Krylov And Gavrilov Win Russian Bughouse Championship
26 teams competed for the gold.
For the second year in a row, the Open Russian Bughouse Championship was organized in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina in Sochi during the club championships. The prize fund is quite decent for a light genre event – 200,000 roubes. The first stage was a 9-Round Swiss, which determined eight teams that continued to challenge the title in a knock-out format.
The team Krylov + Gavrilov eventually took the gold, Alekseenko + Yuffa were second, Vastrukhin + Demidov were third.
