Alexey Sarana and Artyom Timofeev Lead Russian Championship Higher League

The fourth round of the Russian Championship Higher League was played in Yaroslavl on June 28th. Artyom Timofeev and Alexey Sarana are leading the race in the open tournament with 3.5 points. Ernesto Inarkiev, David Paravyan, Grigoriy Oparin, Alexander Motylev, Vadim Zvjaginsev, Ivan Popov, and Aleksandr Rakhmanov are half a point behind.
The games Sarana - Timofeev, Rakhmanov - Inarkiev, Popov - Motylev, Paravyan - Zvjaginsev, and Oparin - Matlakov (2.5) will be played in round 5.
Elena Tomilova is leading the pack in the women's event - 4 points out of 4. Oksana Gritsayeva and Tatjana Vasilevich are trailing by half a point. Round 5 will see the games Tomilova - Gritsayeva and Vasilevich - Shuvalova (3).
