World Youth Championship Goes On in Uruguay

5 rounds are played.

Five rounds of the World Youth Championship among boys and girls under 14, 16 and 18 years old were played in Montevideo. 

Dambasuren Batsuren (Mongolia) has a perfect score in the U14 open group. The Russian Arseniy Nesterov has got 3.5 points. Two players, have scored 4.5 points in the U14 girls’ event. Bibisara Assaubayeva and Kamaliya Bulatova are half a point behind, while Elizaveta Solozhenkina is trailing by one point. 

Two participants are heading the race of the U16 open tournament. Andrey Esipenko and Timur Fakhrutdinov are half a point behind, while Artem Karpenko has scored 3.5 points. Annie Wang (USA) took the lead in the U16 girls’ group with 5 points. Aleksandra Maltsevskaya has scored 4.5 points, while Polina Shuvalova and Anna Kochukova have got 4 and 3.5 points respectively. 

Five players, including Alexandr Triapishko, are leading the U18 open tournament with 4 points. Ivan Yeletsky is 1 point behind. Margarita Potapova and Alexandra Obolentseva are pursuing the leaders in the U18 girls’ section.
