Six Rounds of Ascension Tournament Played in Sochi
Teams from Mordovia and Mari El lead the race.
The fourth all-Russian competitions for orphanages and boarding schools "Ascension 2019" is going on in the Resort complex "AquaLoo" (Sochi, Krasnodar region). After six rounds, the teams of the Saransk boarding school (Republic of Mordovia) and the Lulpany centre for orphans and children deprived of parental care (Mari El Republic) are leading the pack with 17.5 points. Teams of the Luga sanatorium boarding school (Leningrad region) and the Tsagan Aman sanatorium boarding school (Republic of Kalmykia) are half a point behind.
An excursion to the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort was organized for the participants on a free day, March 18.
Many various side events are included in the everyday additional programme: badminton and football competitions, intellectual and analytical games, master classes on photography and drawing, chess club "31/33" and bughouse chess tournament, as well as watching movies in a cinema hall.
