Russian Players are Among Leaders at the World Cadets Championship

Three rounds are played in Brazil.

After three rounds of the World Cadets Championship, which is being held in Pocos de Caldas, eight participants are leading the U8 open tournament. The Russian Savva Vetokhin is one point behind. Four girls have a perfect score in the same age group. Elizaveta Kanter has got 2 points. 

The Russian Leonid Lystsov is among the leaders of the U10 open group. Galina Mikheeva, Alexandra Shvedova (both from Russia) and Dilyana Ivanova (Bulgaria) lead the girls’ event of the same age category. 

Four participants, including the Russian Martin Stukan, have scored 3 points in the U12 open group. Ilya Makoveev has got 2.5 points, while Volodar Murzin is half a point behind him. In the U12 girls’ group, Galina Mironenko is one point behind the leaders.
