Nepomniachtchi leads the Aeroflot Open A

Russian grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi took a sole lead in the main event of the Aeroflot Open. With 6.5 points he is half a point ahead of Daniil Dubov (Russia), Ivan Bukavshin (Russia), and Lu Shanglei (China). David Anton Guijarro (Spain) and Saleh Salem (UAE) have 5.5 points.

WFM Irina Utiatskaja (Russia) won the Open C with 6.5 due to the best tie-break score in a seven-way tie.
