Third Round Ends In Dortmund
Vladimir Kramnik played a brilliant game, which ended in a draw.
In the third round of the Sparkassen Chess Meeting, Lenier Dominguez defeated Ruslan Ponomariov, Evgeniy Najer lost to Fabiano Caruana, Nisipeanu-Vachier-Lagrave was drawn. Vladimir Kramnik had White against Reiner Buhmann, sacrificed bishop, knight, and queen, but still failed to defeat the stubborn opponent.
