Team Russia Wins Against Poland in Round 4 of European Championship

The fourth round of the European Team Championships was played in Terme Čatež, Slovenia, on the 15th of November. 

The Russian team won against Poland 2.5-1.5. Daniil Dubov defeated Radoslaw Wojtaszek, while the games Grischuk - Duda, Alekseenko - Piorun, and Teclaf - Artemiev were drawn.

The leaders with 7 match points are Azerbaijan, Hungary, and Russia.

The Russian team's rival in Round 5 will be Azerbaijan.

The Russian women's team won against one of the main rivals, Georgia, 3-1. Valentina Gunina bested Meri Arabidze, Polina Shuvalova outplayed Salome Melia, while the games Dzagnidze - Goryachkina and Lagno - Javakhishvili ended in draws. 

Having scored 8 match points, the Russian team became the sole leader. Italy is 1 point behind.  

The leaders will face each other in the fifth round.
