Shakhriyar Mamedyarov Triumphant in Biel

In the final tenth round of the super tournament in Biel, Magnus Carlsen defeated Nico Georgiadis, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave bested David Navara, while Peter Svidler and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov made a draw.  



Having scored 7.5 points out of 10, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan) took a clear first place. The world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) is 1.5 points behind. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) and Peter Svidler (Russia) shared 3rd-4th places with 5.5 points.

3-4. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Peter Svidler - 5.5
