Second Leg of Women’s FIDE Grand Prix Officially Opened
Russia is represented by four players.
The second leg of the Women’s FIDE Grand Prix was officially opened in the Yacht Club de Monaco on December 2. FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich, President of Peace and Sport and adviser of His Serene Highness Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco Joël Bouzou, and President of the Monaco Chess Federation Jean-Michel Rapaire delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
The first games will be played today, on December 3. Round 1 pairings:

Elisabeth Paehtz - Zhao Xue
Pia Cramling - Alexandra Kosteniuk
Aleksandra Goryachkina - Kateryna Lagno
Valentina Gunina - Humpy Koneru
Mariya Muzychuk - Anna Muzychuk.
The match days: December 3-8 and 10-14. December 9 is a free day. The games start at 5 p.m. (Moscow time).
