Sea Harbor Tournament Finished in Anapa
IM Sergey Pozin took the first place.
International master Sergey Pozin from Raduzhny won the 10th traditional Sea Harbor tournament is Anapa. The man from the north collected 8 points in 9 games, but even such a high score did not give him a clear first place, as local candidate master Seit Karaev also scored 8 points, despite losing an individual game to Pozin. Yet, Pozin's favorable tie-break gave him the main prize.
Apart from receiving the traditional Cup, the winner got a certificate for flying a paraglider, offered by one of the sponsors of the festival.
Winners of other groups: Vitaly Karpov (Yekaterinburg), Alexandra Starostina (Anapa), Daniik Chernikov (Crimea), Polina Malko (Temryuk), Arseniy Kuzmin (Tula), Sofia Forostyanaya (Yekaterinburg), Olesya Vlasova (Vozonezh) – she was the only player to score 9 out of 9, Kirill Shafarostov (Temryuk).
Almost all 170 participants of the festival received special prizes.
