PhosAgro Remains RCF General Partner in 2017

Andrey Guriev and Andrey Filatov signed the agreement in the Central House of Chess Player.

Russian company PhosAgro, one of the world leading producers of fertilizers, phosphates and feed phosphates, will continue supporting Russian Chess Federation. The agreement was signed on February 14 in the Central House of Chess Player by CEO of PhosAgro, member of RCF Board of Trustees Andrey Guriev, and RCF President Andre Filatov. According to the deal, RCF will receive 30 million roubles this year.

Mr. Guriev said that the decision to become a partner of RCF, taken 7 years ago, was strategically correct. Chess is an ideal medium for marketing and helps the company to promote its brand and communicate with contractors all over the world.

Apart from supporting RCF, PhosAgro also sponsored two World Chess Championships, in Sochi and in New York.

Andrey Filatov stated that PhosAgro is a long term traditional partner of RCF, a company that applies methods similar to those of Russian chess school, and aims only at success.

A press-conference followed the deal signing.
