Moscow Youth Wins Rapid Championship
This is their second victory at the Russian Junior Team Championship.
The rapid chess part of the Russian Junior Team Championship ended in favor of the Moscow Youth team. The players from Moscow scored the impressive 29.5 points out of 36. The runners-up from Samara Region, SamLit team, were 7.5 points (!) behind. Botvinnik School-1 (Moscow), SDYUSSCHOR SHSH (St. Petersburg), and Moscow Youth-2 all tied for third place. The Botvinnik School was given the bronze due to their superior tie-break.
