Maxime Vachier-Lagrave Wins Sinquefield Cup

In the ultimate round 9 of the 2017 Sinquefield Cup in Saint Louis Magnus Carlsen outplayed Levon Aronian but still didn't manage to win the tournament because Maxime Vachier-Lagrave had defeated Ian Nepomniachtchi to become the winner of the event. Peter Svidler won against Fabiano Caruana. The games So - Anand and Nakamura - Karjakin were drawn.Final standings:
