Magnus Carlsen Triumphant in Croatia Grand Chess Tour
The world champion wins his eighth event in a row.

In the eleventh round of the 2019 Croatia Grand Chess Tour, Magnus Carlsen defeated Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to win the tournament with 8 points out of 11. This is the world champion's 8th tournament victory in a row.
Ian Nepomniachtchi lost to Anish Giri, while the games Karjakin - Caruana, Mamedyarov - Ding Liren, Nakamura - Anand, and Aronian - So were drawn.
