The seventh round of the Legends of Chess super tournament was played on Chess24.com on July 27.
Magnus Carlsen defeated Peter Svidler 2.5-1.5 (3-0), thus extending his lead, as Ian Nepomniachtchi outplayed Peter Leko only in the Armageddon game winning the match 3-2 (2-1).
Viswanathan Anand bested Boris Gelfand 2.5-0.5 (3-0), Anish Giri beat Ding Liren with the same score, while Vladimir Kramnik lost to Vassily Ivanchuk 1-3 (0-3).
