Hou Yifan Increases Her Lead
The Chinese grandmaster won the 6th game of the Women's World Championship match.
The 6th game of the Women's World Championship match was played in Lviv, Ukraine. After a quiet opening – the Italian Game – Mariya Muzychuk, who had White in this game, obtained a promising position. However, in the ensuing struggle Muzychuk failed to recognize a tricky idea of her opponent, which immediately turned the tables.
After this victory, Hou Yifan is leading 4-2 with just four more games to play.
