Kosteniuk and Riazantsev Receive Renault Cars
The Russian champions were awarded in the Central House of Chess Player.
The awarding ceremony of the Superfinal winners took place on October 28 in the Central House of Chess Player in Moscow. Honored guests of the event also opened the photographic Renault in Russia exhibition.
2016 Russian champions Alexandra Kosteniuk and Alexander Riazantsev received congratulations from Arkady Dvorkovich, Alexander Zhukov, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, and Mark Glukhovsky. Andrey Pankov, General Director of Renault Russia gave the champions keys to Renault Kaptur cars and presented the RCF Chess Museum a model of this car, decorated by Arkady Dvorkovich's autograph.
The honored guests opened and visited a photographic exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Renault operations in Russia. The photos from Renault archives, Mayakovsky State Museum, and personal collections are exhibited.
The event was concluded by a concert given by Natalia Petrozhitskaya, lead soloist of Moscow Music Theater, and Stanislav Cherenkov, lead soloist of New Opera.
