Anatoly Mukoseev Wins Russian Championship in Solving

23 players participated.

The 25th Russian Solvers Championship took place on May 6-7 in the Zhemchuzhina Grand Hotel in Sochi. 23 participants took start in the event, including composition grandmasters Andrey Selivanov, Oleg Pervakov, and Anatoly Mukoseev.

Following a two-day contest, the championship title went to Anatoly Mukoseev (Tver Region). Alexander Leontiev (Moscow) took second, Dmitry Pletnev (Moscow) took third place. 

The junior U21 championships ended as follows:

Boys – 1. Alexey Popov, 2. Danila Pavlov, 3. Konstantin Novikov;
Girls – 1. Svetlana Tishova, 2. Ekaterina Dyakonova, 3. Kamalia Bulatova.

The prize fund of the championship was 170,000 roubles. The first place paid 45,000 R.
