2020 Cairns Cup Starts in Saint Louis
Humpy Koneru and Nana Dzagnidze won in Round 1.
The second edition of the Cairns Cup began in Saint Louis on February 7. In the first round, Humpy Koneru defeated Carissa Yip, while Nana Dzagidze outplayed the winner of the last year's tournament Valentina Gunina. The games M. Muzychuk - Ju Wenjun, Lagno - Harika, and Kosteniuk - Krush were drawn.
Round 2 pairings:
Ju Wenjun - Krush, Gunina - Kosteniuk, Harika - Dzagnidze, Yip - Lagno, M. Muzychuk - Koneru.
