Teams from Sverdlovsk Region, Saint Petersburg and Moscow Lead Belaya Ladya Final after Three Rounds
Guests win 2.5-1.5 Russia - India match.
The third round of the 50th Belaya Ladya final was played in Dagomys on June 4. The teams from the Sverdlovsk region, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow are leading the race with 10.5 points our of 12. Chess players from Mongolia and the Nizhny Novgorod region are half a point behind.
Pairings and results
A match between school teams of Russia and India is being played as part of the event. It is a two-format contest in standard and blitz chess. A team is made up of two boys and two girls born in 2005 and later. The Indian team won 2.5-1.5 in the third round. The score is 8-4 in favour of the Russian chess players.
