Head Coach of Russian National Men's Chess Team Andrey Filatov Appeals Against FIDE EDC's Decision Regarding Sergey Karjakin

Head coach of the Russian national men's chess team, CFR President Andrey Filatov appeals against the decision of the FIDE Ethics and Disciplinary Commission (EDC) to ban Sergey Karjakin from participating as a player in any FIDE-rated chess competition for six months starting from the 21st of March. On that day, the EDC announced that the Russian grandmaster had been found guilty of breach of article 2.2.10 of the FIDE Code of Ethics. 

The appeal was prepared by the leading and highly-experienced sports law solicitors.
