Aleksandra Goryachkina Wins the Russian Cup
Ivan Bukavshin and Dmitry Kokarev advanced to the final in the men's event.
Aleksandra Goryachkina won the women's event of the Russian Cup. In the final match she defeated Alina Bivol 1.5-0.5.
In the men's semifinals Ivan Bukavshin won the second classical game and eliminated Denis Khismatullin with the 1.5-0.5 score. Dmitry Kokarev managed to equalize the score against Vladimir Fedoseev, and was superior on the tie-break, winning the match 2.5-1.5.
The final match between Bukavshin and Kokarev begins on December 11 at 1 pm Moscow time.
