Yugra Wins Russian Women's Team Championship Ahead of Schedule

Inleksis is the leader of the Higher League.


The penultimate round of the Russian Team Championships was played in the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi.

In the women's tournament, Yugra defeated Starlets (Novosibirsk Oblast) 2.5-1.5 to win the championship with one round to go. Our congratulations!

Southern Ural-1 (Chelyabinsk Oblast) crushed the Moscow Oblast Team 4-0. Ladya (Tatarstan) drew the match against the Moscow Chess Team.

Standings after Round 8:

1. Yugra - 16 (23), 2. Southern Ural-1 - 12 (20.5), 3. Moscow Chess Team - 11 (21), etc.

Inleksis (Voronezh Oblast) maintains leadership in the Higher League with 13 match points (20.5). The Novosibirsk Regional Team is in second place with 12 (23) points, while Yamal (YaNAO) is trailing by 4 board points.
