Vladislav Artemiev Takes the Lead at European Individual Championship

In the penultimate 10th round of the European Individual Championship in Skopje, the Russian Vladislav Artemiev defeated his compatriot Andrey Esipenko to take the sole lead with 8 points.
Grigoriy Oparin (Russia), Kacper Piorun (Poland), Maxim Rodshtein (Israel), Nils Grandelius (Sweden), Ferenc Berkes, Benjamin Gledura (both from Hungary), David Anton Guijarro (Spain), Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu (Germany), and Sergei Movsesian (Armenia) are half a point behind the leader.
The final 11th round starts at 3 p.m. (Moscow time).
The first 22 players will qualify for the next World Cup.
