Vladimir Kantsyn Turns 80
The Distinguished Worker of Culture celebrates his jubilee.
On March 21, Vladimir Mikhailovich Kantsyn, Distinguished Worker of Culture, coach of the highest category, arbiter, journalist, and chess organizer celebrates his 80th birthday. For many years he works as a head of the Rostselmash factory chess section, which brought up a number of excellent players, including Women's Vice-World Champion Ekaterina Kovalevskaya, grandmasters Dmitry Kryakvin and Vitaly Kiselev, international masters Elena Tomilova, Pavel Kotenko, Alexander Antoshkin, and dozens of other strong players. Russian Chess Federation congratulates Vladimir Mikhailovich on his birthday and wishes him health!
