Viktor Kupreichik Memorial Takes Place in Minsk
Two tournaments being played.
The International rapid tournament in memory of Viktor Kupreichik is held from June 20th (arrival) till 24th (departure) in Minsk.
13 players are taking part in the all-play-all tournament of Viktor Kupreichik's friends and colleagues. Five rounds were played on June 21st.
Standings after 5 rounds:
1. Andrei Kovalev (Belarus) - 3.5/4, 2-3. Valery Chekhov, Yuri Balashov (both from Russia) - 3.5/5, 4. Nukhim Rashkovsky (Russia) - 3/4, 5. Viacheslav Dydyshko (Belarus) - 3/5, etc.
Tournament on Chess-Results
The second event - open tournament - saw 4 rounds on the first day. Dmitry Andreikin (Russia), Anton Korobov (Ukraine), Nikita Meshkovs (Latvia), and Viachaslau Zarubitski (Belarus) are lading the event with 4 points.
