Three Players Maintain Leadership at Aeroflot Open

Final round is ahead.

The penultimate eighth round of the 17th International Chess Festival "Aeroflot Open 2019" was played in Cosmos Hotel on February 26. 

Krishnan Sasikiran (India), Haik Martirosyan (Armenia), and Kaido Kulaots (Estonia) are still leading the race in the "A" tournament with 6 points scored.

Denis Khismatullin, Maksim Chigaev, Alexey Sarana (all from Russia), Amin Tabalabaei (Iran), Wang Hao (China), and Tigran L. Petrosian (Armenia) are trailing by half a point. 

Stanislav Bogdanovich (Ukraine) is leading the "B" group with 7 points. Daniil Lintchevski, Sergey Drygalov (both from Russia), Sundar Shyam (India), and Mahammad Muradli (Azerbaijan) are one point behind.  
 
Timofey Iljin (Ukraine) has taken the lead in the the "C" tournament with 7 points. Elisha Lukin (Israel) is on the second place with 6.5 points.
