Three Leaders Emerged at Tata Steel Masters

Mamedyarov and Rapport joined Vidit.

The Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2022 resumed in Wijk aan Zee after the first rest day.

In the Masters event, Santosh Vidit made a draw against Anish Giri and was caught up with by Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, who defeated Jorden van Foreest, and Richard Rapport, who outplayed Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa. The games Dubov - Shankland, Esipenko - Caruana, Duda - Karjakin, and Grandelius - Carlsen were drawn.

4-5. Andrey Esipenko, Magnus Carlsen - 3
