Third Leg of FIDE WGP Kicks Off in New Delhi

The third leg of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix has begun in the Indian capital with a scandal. At first, the Kazakh player Zhansaya Abdumalik withdrew from the event due to the organisational issues, and on the next day, she was followed by Elisabeth Paehtz (Germany). Thus, the tournament continues with ten players.

Paehtz's opponent, Rameshbabu Vaishali won by forfeit. The games Shuvalova - Lagno, Koneru - Harika, Zhu - Goryachkina, and Dzagnidze - Batsiashvili were drawn.

Round 2 pairings:

Vaishali - Assaubayeva, Goryachkina - Dzagnidze, Harika - Zhu, Shuvalova - Koneru.
