Team from Moscow Oblast Wins Belaya Ladya Final

Moscow is in second place, Novosibirsk Oblast got bronze.


The final ninth round of the all-Russian school team competition "Belaya Ladya" final was played in the AMAKS Resort "Orbita" (Olginka, Krasnodar Krai) on 10 June. Team from Moscow won the match Hainaut Belarus 3-1, while Moscow Oblast defeated Tatarstan 3.5-0.5 to edge out Moscow by half a point in the final standings. Team from Novosibirsk Oblast is in third place.

1. Moscow Oblast - 29.5 board points (16 match points)
2. Moscow - 29 (18)
3. Novosibirsk Oblast - 24 (13)
4. Altai Krai - 23 (14)
5. Tyumen Oblast - 22.5 (13)
6. Astrakhan Oblast - 22 (12)
7. Belarus - 21.5 (13)
8. Chelyabinsk Oblast - 21.5 (12)
9. Samara Oblast - 21.5 (10)
10. Arkhangelsk Oblast - 21 (12), etc.

The tournament was a 9-round Swiss event. Each team consisted of four players (with at least one girl) and one coach. 

The tournament is organised by the Chess Federation of Russia and the Russian Ministry of Sports and supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Elena and Gennady Timchenko Foundation. The CFR general partner is PhosAgro. The CFR Partner is Aeroflot.
