St. Petersburg Wins the European Seniors

Russia-1 took a third place.

A final round 2-2 draw with the Russian women's team secured the gold medals of the European Seniors Team Championship for the team from St. Petersburg. The players from our northern capital – Faibisovich, Mishuchkov, Karasev, Monin, and Turikov – collected 16 team points out of 18, and won the championship. 

Israel finished second with 14 points, Russia-1 was third with 13 points. Russian women's team scored 12 points and won the women's competition.
