Semi-Final of FIDE Grand Prix Leg Begins in Berlin

First semifinal matches of the FIDE Grand Prix leg were played in Berlin. Wesley So defeated Amin Tabatabaei with the white pieces, while the game between Hikaru Nakamura and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov ended in a draw.
The return games will be held on the 31st of March. In case of a tie, a tie-break will be played on the next day.
