Second Half of Russian Youth Championships Begins in Sochi

Players under 15-19 years old and juniors enter the field.

The Russian Youth Championships among boys and girls under 15, 17 and 19 years old, the Russian Junior Championships under 21 years old, and the all-Russian competition "First League" among boys under 15 years old, and boys and girls under 17 years old will be held on April 21-30.

711 young players are taking part in the above-mentioned tournaments.

Tournament on Chess-results 

The additional programme of the Championship includes the all-Russian seminar for participants (April 22-23), the all-Russian arbiters' seminar (April 22-26), FIDE trainer seminar (April 22-28), and refresher courses for trainers (April 22-28). 

The events are held subject to compliance with the requirements of the authorisation acts adopted as part of the fight against COVID-19 on the territory of Krasnodar Krai as well as with the Regulations on organisation of the official sports events in Russia in the context of maintaining risks of the COVID-19 spreading confirmed by the Russian Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin and the Top sanitary official of Russia Anna Popova.

All participants (players, accompanying persons, coaches, arbiters, the OC members and others) are to comply with the Regulations on the inflectional safety.
