Russian Young Players Excel at European Youth Championship
They won 22 medals.
The European Youth Ches Championship which was played in a hybrid format, finished on the 21st of October. The Russian players won twenty-two medals.
Gold medallists are Arseny Kleschevnikov (Open U8), Anastasiya Barabash (Girls U8), Diana Preobrazhenskaya (Girls U10), Anna Shukhman (Girls U12), Alexey Zakharov (Open U14), Polina Kobak (Girls U14), Viktoriya Loskutova (Girls U18), and Volodar Murzin (Open U20).
Nikolay Kleimenov (Open U8), Kristina Zavivaeva (Girls U8), Vasilisa Semenova (Girls U10), Ivan Zemlyanskii (Open U12), Erdem Khubukshanov (Open U14), and Galina Mikheeva (Girls U14) won silver medals.
Veronika Kuvaeva (Girls U8), Taimaz Temirbekov (Open U10), Semen Novozhilov (Open U12), Oksana Goriachkina (Girls U12), Ruslan Kavyev (Open U18), Ekaterina Miroshnik (Girls U18), Tagir Salemgareev (Open U20), and Anna Afonasieva (Girls U20) are placed third.
