Andrey Filatov, President of the Chess Federation of Russia:

- I extend my congratulations to our young athletes, their parents and coaches on taking the European Championship medals! This truly huge achievement highlights years of tense and hard work. I also want to express my gratitude to the Head coach of the Russian youth national team Mikhail Kobalia, Head coach of the national teams Sergey Janovsky, and the national teams manager Artem Pugachev for taking responsibility on a regular basis over large Russian delegations at the international competitions. It has become a real challenge recently. However, our athletes attend them and demonstrate good results no matter the challenges. I congratulate everyone again and wish more success to come!
